SCOTUS Refuses to Halt Texas Immigration Law, DEPORTATIONS Now Allowed Under SB

US: Appeals Court Puts Republican-Backed Texas Immigration Law on Hold | Firstpost America

Just hours after the US Supreme Court allowed Texas to arrest illegal migrants crossing the US-Mexico border, an appeals court put the Republican-backed law on hold. The judicial back and forth, that began last December after the Republican Texas Governor signed the measure, continues. Will the contentious measure be reversed again?

I am so confused ... 😆

Texas immigration law blocked, reinstated multiple times in 30 hours

Senate Bill 4, a Texas immigration law that would allow law enforcement to detain undocumented migrants based on their immigration status, has faced a series of legal challenges, resulting in the law being blocked and reinstated multiple times within a 30-hour period, causing confusion among law enforcement and the public.

Migrants break barriers and rush border guards in shocking scene at El Paso :oops::oops:

A group of over 100 migrants attempting to enter the US illegally rushed a border wall Thursday, breaking through razor wire and knocking over guards in the process. The Post witnessed around 600 migrants amassed at the international border, who the Texas National Guard were attempting to push back in small groups. The situation grew tense as groups were separated out and video shows the migrants then crying out for help and rushing to the border gate. A group of men with hoodies, gloves and winter jackets then pull the fencing away as a group of five guards form a defensive position to fill the gap.

A migrant with bolt cutters snipped a wire border fence Sunday, then led dozens of migrants through the hole — only to be turned back to Mexico by National Guard troops.

The Post observed as the migrants pulled fencing away and pushed through the state’s concertina-wire barrier near a gate in the wall, entering the US illegally, near El Paso, Texas.
Footage of the incident taken by The Post showed guardsmen appearing and blocking the migrants, and directing them away from Gate 45, which is not a legal port of entry, and back to Mexican territory.
The incident comes days after another encounter a few miles away at Gate 36 in the border — where more than 100 people bum-rushed Texas National Guard soldiers last Thursday.

Ex Firearms Policy Coalition attorney Anthony Miranda discuss today's Supreme Court ruling and implications for who actually controls the Texas international border:
  • Supreme Court denied Biden administration's request to intervene in Department of Homeland Security vs State of Texas case
  • Supreme Court decided in favor of leaving the administrative stay in place until the 5th Circuit either decides on a true stay order or until they decide the case
  • Supreme Court essentially told the Biden administration their emergency request for intervention is too early; and let the 5th Circuit review the case, review the stay order and rule on the case.
  • And if Biden administration disagrees with the decision, they can then return back to the Supreme Court
  • So if the Supreme Court sided with Texas, why can Texas implement SB4? That's because the 5th Circuit removed their own administrative stay to hear oral arguments last week (For true stay to grant/deny preliminary injunction) and judges were concerned how practical it would be to implement SB4.
    • If Texas National Guard/state representative took illegal immigrants to Border Patrol, what would they do?
    • What if Border Patrol/federal government refused to deport the illegal immigrants?
    • Texas don't know because this has not happened before.
  • Texas argued they are simply coordinating enforcement of federal laws. They are not doing anything new rather simply coordinating what Congress said about immigration law. They are helping the federal government enforce existing laws while taking some actions on their own (Arresting illegal immigrants and taking them to Border Patrol for deportation under state police powers, self-defense of state and other authorities)
  • If 5th Circuit grants true stay order, then federal government attorneys asked for 3 day stay to take the case back to the Supreme Court
  • So until the 5th Circuit rules on the true stay, SB4 is on hold

For those viewing this forum from phones who cannot view videos, can you give us a brief summary synopsis?
OK, found this from the video link about Darien Gap.

Mass migration of biblical scale is driven by desire for money/economic reasons which do not meet the refuge/asylum safehaven requirements.

Jump to 18:00 minute of video for existence of two distinct camps where one is highly "organized and careful" and the other is "disorganized, robbed, raped and killed" in the Darien Gap (60 mile uncontrolled gap between Panama and Columbia).

At 26:15 minute, "planned" migration through the Darien Gap is coordinated by USA and IOM (International Organization of Migration) and "filtering" is done with preference shown to some and not to others.

At 29:25 minute, if "migrants" are hostile to US culturalism, it is not migration where they want to become Americans but invasion of a country for takeover.

At 40:00 minute, "multiculturalism" is good if migrants assimilate/accept "Western" values of founding fathers' colonial pursuit of working together/partnership/collaboration for mutual benefit.

LifeLife covered it well. The big takeaway from the part about the two groups of migrants is that the Chinese one appears to be something other than simple economic migrants (and while neither of them will just come out and say it, I will; its clearly a CCP Military invasion of the US. They're bringing thousands upon thousands of Chinese troops across our southern border to join up with "sleeper units" here in the states). Interesting times indeed.

-There's also the simple fact that the Chinese economy is collapsing, with some facets down around 90%.
Swaths of workers haven't been paid in six months to a year.
Makes emigrating look pretty good, don't it?

@Zundfolge, that was my thought initially as they were carefully "dancing around" why there were two migrant camps with one being "organized and careful ... strictly off record" and the other being "disorganized and [neglected]"

After some pondering, I am more in agreement with @theotherwaldo and here's my working theory.

I think the "disorganized" camp is comprised of "Just do it/Let's just make it to the US border" group that is traveling on their own without external support hence why they are being robbed/raped/killed.

And the "organized" camp is comprised of well funded and prepaid group (from China) with external support to ensure their safe passage and arrival at the US border. It may or may not be CCP military personnel. My guess is leaning more towards parents/families of these "military age in good health" tasked with migrating to US to establish roots/have US born babies and to ultimately sponsor rest of families from China.

Consider this post from "Invasions" thread - https://notechtyranny.com/index.php?threads/invasions.308/page-3#post-9658

The Chinese migrants risking it all for the American dream

Traversing Latin America to the US has become a well-worn path for those seeking new lives. But now would-be migrants are coming from further afield – China.
This year, thousands have already made the trip known as “zouxian” or “the route”. Their goal: asylum in the US.
Migrants cite a host of reasons for leaving China, from economic uncertainty, to Beijing’s harsh COVID-19 policies, to human rights. But they can fall prey to human traffickers, corrupt officials, even drug cartels. Despite the dangers, more and more Chinese are risking it all for the American dream.

And this earlier post where Chinese immigrants are driven/chauffeured to the opening/hole in the wall so they can surrender to Border Patrol and afterwards, they call for Uber and "they are gone".

People are learning about a hole in the "Wall" on TikTok as to how to contact the smugglers in Tijuana who will drive them to the hole then surrender to Border Patrol.

"What do some migrants do after being released by Border Patrol?" ... "They call an Uber and they are gone"

60 Minutes | Chinese migrants are fastest growing group crossing into U.S. from Mexico

A growing number of Chinese nationals, trying to escape repressive politics and a bleak economy, are headed to the U.S. They’re turning to a gap at the southern border with Mexico as a way to get in.

60 Minutes Overtime - A gap in the border fence has become a destination for migrants seeking asylum in the US. But what happens after they step onto American soil?

State after state, I could see similar laws passing like Texas' SB4 and now Iowa is following in Texas steps.

New legislation in Iowa which is expected to be signed by the governor would make it a state crime for a person to be in Iowa if previously denied admission to or removed from the United States - https://www.yahoo.com/news/migrants-iowa-wonder-whether-leave-151249782.html
  • Republican leaders have rallied around ... “every state is a border state" as they accuse President Biden of neglecting his responsibilities to enforce federal immigration law.
  • Iowa’s lawmakers ... called a “clear and present danger” posed to Iowans by some migrants crossing the southern border.
  • Rep. Steve Holt ... argued that Iowa has “the right, the duty and the moral obligation to act to protect our citizens and our sovereignty.” ... “I think it’s time for every state to stand up and say … ‘we’ve had enough. We will defend our people.’"
  • The Iowa legislation, like the Texas law, could mean criminal charges for people who have outstanding deportation orders or who have previously been removed from or denied admission to the US
  • Once in custody, migrants could either agree to a judge’s order to leave the US or be prosecuted ...The judge’s order must identify the transportation method for leaving the US and a law enforcement officer or Iowa agency to monitor migrants' departures. Those who don’t leave could face rearrest under more serious charges.
  • The bill in Iowa faces the same questions of implementation and enforcement as the Texas law
