Will The Immigration Crisis Bankrupt U.S. Cities?

The ongoing migrant crisis is unprecedented, both in scale and the impact it’s had beyond the border states to cities located deep within the country. Major cities like New York, Denver, and Chicago are finding themselves under extreme financial pressure, exacerbated by the lack of federal funding or assistance. So just how long can cities withstand the recent surge of migrants and what do they need to end the crisis?

Migrants in America: Full Episode - "A national crisis"

New York City is in the midst of an unexpected migrant crisis. Asylum seekers are making their way here in record numbers. FOX 5 NY's Stephanie Bertini explores the reality of what's going on at home and abroad.

The Chinese migrants risking it all for the American dream

Traversing Latin America to the US has become a well-worn path for those seeking new lives. But now would-be migrants are coming from further afield – China. This year, thousands have already made the trip known as “zouxian” or “the route”. Their goal: asylum in the US. Migrants cite a host of reasons for leaving China, from economic uncertainty, to Beijing’s harsh COVID-19 policies, to human rights. But they can fall prey to human traffickers, corrupt officials, even drug cartels. Despite the dangers, more and more Chinese are risking it all for the American dream.

Of course this flood of border-jumping criminals will have no respect for any law that doesn't support them.
Of course this is supposed to bankrupt our cities.
This plan has been under way since the 1960's.
They're not going to stop now.

And the fire has started ...
And it's becoming an inferno ... (0:55 seconds of video) Outraged Georgian residents are demanding names of those who voted to make Athens a "Sanctuary City" and yelling at the mayor to step down ... "You are a liar ... You are a liar ... You got blood on your hands. You need to go, sir ... You are not defending us. You are not upholding the oath of office ... We don't want to hear from you ... You are lawless!"

"The illegal immigrant who killed the nursing student could have been deported immediately after previous crimes"

Texas Rangers Raid "Cartel Island" on Border with Mexico

The border with Mexico has recently become a hot spot for cartel activity. This has further fueled the fire of the humanitarian crisis. Many areas will have large population centers on the Mexican side of the border, and little to no infrastructure on the American side, making them ideal places for launching points into the U.S.
Some recent efforts have been made to fix this situation. US Authorities have built autonomous border patrol watch towers, Autonomous watch towers scan the environment with radar to detect movement then it orients the camera to that location. I’ve used something similar to this when I was in Iraq and its detection capabilities are incredible. You can easily spot targets over 2 kilometers away. Computer AI algorithms analyzes the imagery to automatically identify if its worth notifying and sending agents out to the scene. but these are expensive and typically dozens of miles apart. They are only posted where terrain permits at the most easily accessible crossing points.

Yep.
Here on the Texas border we have aerostats and towers that functionally mark the edges of border sectors, with roving Border Patrol groups, helicopters and local police in between.
Of course, the cartels have lookouts to alert the coyotes of weak spots..
Here in Texas, though, invasion pressure is way down, possibly because of SB4.
Arizona and California are the current targets.
Unfortunately for the illegals, the cartels in that area are a lot rougher... .

Now, "invasion" of migrants at US/Canada border ... Concerning are those on the terror watch list ... 564 were apprehended but how many got through? And how many more entered the US the previous years?

What's behind the record number of illegal crossings at the northern border?

"It was a flood we have not seen before ... Exponential shift ... Something we were not expecting ... It hit us hard [At the northern border] ... Never seen anything like it ... 7000 people were arrested in 2023, more than 12 previous years COMBINED ... They have come from 66 different countries ... In 2023, 564 people on the terror watch list were apprehended, of which 484 were encountered at the northern border"

‘JIG IS UP’: Bartiromo exposes Biden’s motive for wide open border - Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, R-Pa., reveals why the 2024 presidential is ‘so important’ for solving the U.S.’s immigration crisis

"Democrats basically admitted one of the reasons why they want illegal immigrants is so they can have an inflation of the census and ... inflate the electoral college ... inflate the representation in the house of representatives ... just this week, representative from Seattle thinks illegal immigrants should be allowed to vote in local elections which is precursor to federal elections"

Migrant influencer shares squatting tactics on TikTok

A Venezuelan national dubbed “The Migrant Influencer” is at the center of controversy over a series of TikTok posts coaching migrants on how to live in the U.S. by taking advantage of laws protecting squatters.

And Florida House Bill 621 authorizes property owners to request action by the sheriff's office to immediately remove squatters from your home. The bill passed overwhelmingly in the Florida senate last week. (y)

In New York, squatters have rights ... After 30 days, they can stay legally and it will take 2 years to get them evicted! (n)

Thankfully, new NY bill filed to prevent squatters from having rights ... New Yorkers are finally coming to their senses ... Finally ... (y)

Now Iran attacks Israel ... "This is declaration of war" ... We are inching closer and closer to World War 3

And Russia has quickly recovered and boosted military manufacturing/production capacity and with recent conscription, is bigger than before the war with Ukraine began! (Looks to me, Russia just dumped their old military junk and prisons in Ukraine to "test the waters" of how Ukraine and the West would respond)

Estonian Intel Chief: Russian military is bigger than before Ukraine war started with war with NATO looming.

Estonia’s top spy says Russia is building more capability and that NATO countries would be the next target if Ukraine loses. But Kaupo Rosin, Kaupo who is the Director General of the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service, told DW’s Tim Sebastian at the Munich Security Conference that Western policymakers could influence Moscow’s considerations through their choices.

And US alliance growing in Indo-Pacific against China with Japan, Philippines, India joining in as China flexes threat against Taiwan (Is China invading Taiwan like Russia invading Ukraine?):

Yeah, right.
Russia is bigger, stronger and more influential than ever after being fought to a stand-still by the Ukraine.
Tell us another one, Estonia.
At least this is getting some of the members of NATO to start investing in their own defenses... .

-And China had better do what they they are going to do pretty quick.
Their economy sucks.
Admittedly, they desperately need a Short, Victorious War to tamp down their domestic unrest... .

With Texas and Arizona borders better patroled, inflow of illegal immigrants are shifting to California San Diego coastline to bypass border patrol

"We need more coast guard ..."

The Hill: A group of migrants were seen on video driving a speedboat onto a San Diego beach. San Diego County District 5 Supervisor Jim Desmond says the "same chaos that's been happening at the border" is also happening along the city's coastline.

NY Post is reporting record number of Chinese illegal immigrants are crossing the border. Interviewed Chinese in San Diego said $75,000 was spent in crossing the border.

New York Post: The number of Chinese migrants illegally crossing the US-Mexico border has hit a new record with 24,200 arrested in the last six months, mostly in San Diego County, California, according to federal data. NY Post reporter Jennie Taer shares this story.
The huge influx is already equal to the number of Chinese people arrested for illegally crossing into the US in 2023 — which itself set a record for being more than in the previous ten years combined. Taking advantage of holes in the border wall and the Biden administration’s lax enforcement of border policy, Chinese people are buying plane tickets to Mexico and paying smugglers to take them to the areas where its easiest to cross into California.
