I support your right to believe what you want.
It doesn't bother me in the least to wear a mask when I need one, which is rarely and never because of COVID, the flu, common cold, etc.
I don't care if anyone else wears one or not either. Get mad about that if you want, it won't change anything.
Do you wear the ribbon? I really wish you would, it's not a big deal.

Of course it is; this pandemic has a 99.7 % survival rate; little kids are not affected by it but they make my 6y.o. granddaughter wear one to class. If the vaccines work (which they do not) why the mask? This is about control and conditioning folks to blindly follow false science bullshit spouted by some government lackey like Fauci. A government that can make you do things against your will during an "emergency" will create an emergency any time they want to exercise more control. People are dying from the vaccines, but cannot sue the drug makers. If the vaccines work, why do these folks need to wear a mask? Time to wake up to the bullshit you're being spoonfed. Why have they never mandated all these restrictions during flu seasons?
Well, I had a family member catch it from a little kid and almost die. As I have said before, a mask is not about you! It is about not spreading it to someone else. By wearing one you are contributing to the well-being of the society. If you don't want to wear a mask, just don't go out near other people.
As to the flu comparison, don't. No normal influenza is anything near what COVID is, in terms of lethality or communicability (see CDC stats above).
The rest of your post is just conspiracy-theory.

Well, in my town, we are almost at full capacity in the hospitals and we have refrigerated trucks in the parking lots for the bodies because our morgues are full. Doesn't sound like 99% survival rate to me.
As far as control goes, I kind of get that, but I'm still gonna wear a mask because I believe it will help keep others safe.
The reason we don't have these same mandates during flu season is simple. The flu is not as deadly( please refrain from telling me they are the same, they definitely are not) and we have many other tools in place to combat the flu.
Bullshit, it IS about me and MY health. Breathing your own CO2 constantly for hours on end is very unhealthy and leads to hypercapnia and hypoxia, both of which can be deadly. Stop being a sheep and you worry about YOU and stop worrying ab out me.
Please don't come in without having read the thread. This has been hashed out above.

And I am not worrying about you. I am worrying about others, including my family, who may be near you, and who may may catch COVID because you won't wear a mask around other people.

I am sure that they lie about some of the numbers, human nature doesn't change. Facts are as follows-
We are facing a global pandemic.
We have handled it very poorly, maybe worst of all first world nations, and a lot of that has to do with all these people refusing to follow scientific advice and walk around acting like it is fake. I know several people who died from Covid, some of those thought it was a joke too. Do what you want, but go against the scientific advice at your peril.
