I refuse to wear a mask

....

BTW - you might read that CDC page more carefully. They can quarantine infected people, not people who haven't taken a vaccine. Most countries reserve the right to quarantine people infected with a dangerous pathogen.
... and if everyone is required to wear a mask they are required to do so because they're presumed to be infected?

Mass enforced quarantine on the basis of a presumption of infection has been used in multiple other countries during the current pandemic.

Don't assume it can't happen here.

And have they? I mean, we are comparing this to the Nazis. Right? You know, trains packed full of people without food, water, or sanitation. People stripped of their belongings, then shot by the thousands and tossed into unmarked graves. Death camps with extermination protocols. Millions dead, millions more starved and diseased in packed camps. Right?
No, you're assuming the only comparison is to the Nazis. Actions similar to the ones you mentioned and differing only in degree and modern means of implemention have occurred in China in response to the current pandemic.

Don't assume it can't happen here.

The comparison to the Nazis was by str8forward and theotherwaldo. I just tried to show how absurd such a comparison is.

But, as I said, the CDC only can enforce quarantine when someone is infected with a dangerous pathogen. Not because of vaccination status. Not that .gov has expressed even considering such a move. That is all you guys.

....So I am playing the odds to a reasonable degree now that the delta-variant surge has passed..
Well, sorry, you lost your bet. The vaccines aren't very effective against the new variants. I guess the odds weren't as good as you were led to believe. That's what comes of believing the health "authorities". But ... you should have seen that coming ... it was inevitable. You going to keep getting vaccinated every few months a new variant comes out? Sheesh. You're going to look (and feel) like a freaking pin-cushion. If you live through it.

Who says the vaccines aren't effective against the variants? The variants are more communicable among the unvaccinated, but I haven't seen anything on communicability amongst the vaccinated. You got a link?

The consensus is pretty much unanimous: the vaccines are less effective against the successive variants. Degree of reduction is variant-dependent. I didn't say they were not effective. I did say new variants. There is one variant out there - the A.0 - which it's said the vaccines are totally ineffective against. It's not widespread and it doesn't seem to be spreading. Yet. So, though one instance can't be used to make a general case, I still think that yet once again, you're misrepresenting what was said, using a little word twisting, to make a debate point that seems to be in your favor, when it is not. The general medical consensus now is that a third booster is required because the vaccines are becoming less effective.

Who says? The Mayo Clinic believable enough for you?

A half dozen links in support of my post above good enough for you?

Continue the trend and "not very effective" against "new variants" is a logical and reasonable statement to make.

So will a fourth booster be needed for the next variant? Viruses mutate. This will go on indefinitely. It shouldn't be seen that vaccines are THE solution, and the only solution. They are not. Not logical and not reasonable.

I was greatly heartened today by the fact that not a single kid trick-or-treating me today was wearing a stupid Covid medical mask. None of the parents that came to the door were wearing one either. The parents that stayed in the dark, out in the street, I couldn't tell ....

Considering some of the unvaccinated are under functional house arrest, concentration camps may not be out of the picture... .
No one who invokes the Nazis can be taken seriously. Because there is no similarity at all.

Oh, and learn some history, for God's sake. It was NOT imposed in Nazi Germany - it was in Poland first, and other occupied countries later.
I seem to remember that once you bring up nazi's, the discussion is pretty much over, but what about the surviving Jews, do they have any creditability with the jen-psaki crowd?

And according to history, the Star of David was the brainfart of goebbels, it was only implemented in Poland first.

Moving out of the state is pretty serious, and they're doing that en masse.
still not solving the problem because in the end there are only criminals (illegals and politicians) left and they continue getting tax dollars from DC.

They need real conservatives who have no qualms kicking out the bloodsucking illegals and closing the borders. And this is certainly not going to happen under the current illegitimate regime. Red states need to stop sending our hard earned $ to the crap-hole DC.
We do not need DC, they need us.

Of course, we also have our fair share of corrupt and scheming politicians, the windsock graham and his cronies are a big part of our problems.
They are not representing us as they should, yet for some odd reasons they get reelected. I just don't understand how stupid and blind so many voters are.
