As people (like me) flee the Big Blue cities and states, SOMEBODY has to get stuffed in to replace them or the Big Blues are going to lose representation.
They're already losing tax money as the wealthy and the corporations bail out, but if they can cling to enough representation then they can use their representation to steal money from everybody else... .

It is estimated that the population of illegal aliens in California gives that state 3-5 additional seats in Congress (and thus 3-5 extra electoral votes). That means even without voting, Illegal Aliens in California have more of a voice in Congress and more power in presidential elections than citizens in something like 15 states.
