Wife suggested I use the usual milk butter roll dough recipe to make cinnamon rolls. Checked some recipes and I just needed to increase sugar from 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup and flour from 3.5 cups to 4.5 cups ... 3.5 hours later of rising the dough twice, here it is topped with cream cheese frosting following this recipe - https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/best-cinnamon-rolls/

Wife requested NY steak for lunch ... Cooked medium temped to 135-140F with yellow squash sauteed in butter and garlic along with microwave Yukon Gold potato. She says way better than McDonalds/Burger King. 🥰😘

Wife and daughter went for a hike and daughter requested beef stirfry for dinner.

Marinated beef slices (Dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, ground pepper, onion powder, sugar, corn starch), onion, celery, orange bell peppers, baby bokchoy, green onions, ginger and garlic with splash of sesame oil (Sauce was light soy sauce, water, heavy on oyster sauce, ground pepper, sugar and corn starch).

Gotta love the seasoned carbon steel pan ... Had the electric burner on high (I usually use medium heat) and everything cooked well without sticking (I partially shallow oil fried the beef slices and steamed the baby bokchoy/green onion before stir frying).

I was craving spaghetti so ground some chuck to make meat sauce with canned tomatoes and mushroom (My secret is adding a can of Campbell's condensed tomato soup to sauce and sugar to taste).

Cooked some De Cecco linguine and topped with grated Parmesan and pecorino romano cheese

Wow!
All of the things that I can't eat, all in one page!
And here's more ...

Made wine reduction braised short ribs for Mother's Day ... Browned short ribs with whole head of garlic cut in half seared in same pan then boiled in wine, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper then foil covered and baked for 3 hours in 330F oven. Then pan dripping pushed through wire sieve and reduced further with mushroom sauteed in butter.

Wife's plate served with garlic butter mashed Yukon Gold potatoes ... It was very good < I think wife likes me a bit more too 🥰 >

Now THAT I could dig in to - well, except for the cheese sliders... .
Yes, braised short ribs with wine reduction was very tender and juicy full of flavor but you GOTTA try those pepper jack cheese sliders ... Really gooey and cheesy. YUMMY. 👍

Porterhouse steak and microwave Yukon Gold potato along with butter sauteed squash. Cooked to 130-135F and came out very tender and juicy.

The steak looks great, but I spent most of today in bed because I accidentally ate some gravy at a party on Friday.
Wheat doesn't agree with me... .

Got a head of broccoli to make Broccoli Beef but wife mentions Kung Pao Beef (Her favorite) ... So after some pondering, "I am going to make Kung Pao Broccoli Beef" ... Problem solved. (y)

Time to bake more bread and rolls along with wife's favorite double chocolate (Milk and Semi-Sweet chips) walnut cookies. Sample of roll with butter was good.

Over the weekend I got craving for Chili Colorado (Wife loves Mexican food) so made a batch referencing this recipe simmering for 2 hours ... Came out juicy and tender and spicy

Breakfast was usual Yukon Gold potato diced hash with onion, bell peppers and minced fresh garlic. Added seasoned salt, cracked black pepper and fried eggs from the our hens. Side of fresh baked rolls and butter.

Looks good, but that would put me in the hospital.
My usual breakfast is scrambled eggs cooked with lean ham, topped with mild taco sauce - and lots of coffee with stevia and no-carb creamer.
