Too Many Cheap Guns!

I went to my LGS the other day.
The owner was grousing about all of the folks that bought cheap guns over the last couple of panics and now wanted to sell them back for around new prices.
After all they haven't been fired!
And now these gun buyers find that their wages are functionally lower and they have bills to pay... .

He's been turning them away,

Meanwhile, milsurps, classics and antiquities are more than doubling in price and not even making it to the store's shelves... .

Thing to remember is shortages go through cycles and you need to buy when things are abundant and low priced then sell at the peak of panic. ;)

I don't sell.
Anyway, it would take a full economic crash to put the old guns that I want back on the market... .

Found some of the old guns at a gun show today.
A Turkish M-38 for $225.00.
A Model 1917 Enfield for $600.00.
-And, on the way home, an FN High Power with Waffenamt markings, 2 matching mags and an original P-38 holster for $1500.00 that I put on lay-away.
I guess that the old ones are still out there... .

By the way, Happy Veteran's Day!
