Who should run with Donald Trump in 2024?

Who should Donald Trump choose as his running mate in 2024? Lindsey Graham? Jim Jordan? Nikki Haley? My pick is: Sarah Sanders (Mike Huckabee's daughter, White House Press Secretary early in the first term). This is one smart, strong, impressive lady.

Your pick(s)?

I don't think it's going to much matter. I voted for the guy the last 2 elections, but I won't vote for him again. Whoever he chooses will need to come to terms with the fact that accepting an offer to be his running mate will be the end of their political career. Sure, they could carry some areas IF they got on the Republican ticket (they won't). Trump running in 2024 will only guarantee another Democrat president next term.

Haley/Carson or Grenelll/Rubio 2024. Assuming that Joe finishes his term, one of these tickets would give us either the first female President, or the first gay President and Latino Vice Pres. Pretty tough for the other side to scream "RACIST!!!!!" at either one of these pairs- though Im sure they will find something else to fixate and trigger on.

Either way Im happy. All four of those folks are supremely competent defenders of the US.

I liked Trumps "America First" agenda, and think he started off on the right path, but hes not really that bright, not a great speaker, and the Capitol incident was the nail in the coffin.

Agree entirely. It'll be a female nominee with a minority/female/marginalized VP candidate. Has to be if they want a shot at winning.

I suspect that Trump aims to be a kingmaker rather than a king... unless the Republican party leadership keeps trying to attack him.
Then you can expect him to create and back a Patriot Party that will act as a spoiler for anything that the Republicans try to do.
It won't matter who runs for the Republican side after that.

Lindsey and Haley are both spineless swamp rats. Jordan may be a good pick. Personally, I would like to see someone with the personality of Genghis Khan or Attila the Hun.

The threat of a third “Patriot” party splitting the Republican vote is real. Further, Trump has lots of PAC money from build the wall and stop the steal donations. He will use it to his own skewed ends. A healthy two party system works best. I’m concerned we don’t have that right now.

Nikki Haley is a spineless swamp rat? Obviously you havent seen any of her speeches from her days at the UN. Weve never had a stronger proponent at that vipers nest and she wouldnt take any crap from China, Russia, Iran, or the Eurotrash Union.

Nikki Haley did a bang-up job as UN Ambassador and I was suitably impressed, however, the rest of her political career does tend to run toward Republican establishment political insider. Populist conservatives are the future of the Republican party IF the party realizes they must not only be included but must also be allowed to lead the way. If the "Mittens" Romney and RINO Liz Cheney insiders-at-any-price prevail the Republican party is doomed.

My biggest fear is that no matter what, Republicans won’t win an election because the rigged ballot boxes are in, and the Democrats learned a lot about how to cheat this last election and you can bet they’ll apply all all they’ve learned to the coming elections... until the Republicans learn to cheat better than the Democrats, I don’t think we have a prayer ... and if the Republicans to “cheat better”, I’m not sure I want to be part of that either.

Maybe the Republicans will smarten up and run someone with actual qualifications and intelligence. Someone with a little class and dignity, someone who maybe actually cares just a little about the American people. They should just forget about Trump, his presidency was a black mark on the history of this nation.

Trump is an idiot, but his policies were mostly spot on.

The "black mark" on history is Obamas 8 years of appeasement foriegn policy, mission creep in the middle east, starvation of the military, economic stagnation, uncontrolled immigration, and runaway drug abuse and addiction crises.

All of which, good 'ol, kindly, dignified, "qualified" Joe is hell bent on bringing back.

Not to mention starting as many wars in Africa and the Middle East as possible - and then sending American soldiers into the middle of them with the most restrictive R.O.E.s that can be imposed... .

Sadly, I must agree ... along with sending jobs back to China, India, Mexico... etc. expansion of unemployment, food stamps and government dependency.
