For all of you "work at home forever since the scamdemic" folks this isn't for you.
I currently drive right at an hour with good traffic to get to work. I don't mind it too much. I live in the country and get to enjoy all of the freedoms that entails but as the saying goes, you can't have a decent job in the city and live in the country without having to drive.
My worst commute was several years ago having to drive from a suburb outside of Richmond to the DC/Maryland area. Average was 3-4hrs one way. One time it took 6hrs to get home with multiple accidents. That was a 120 mile trip one way.
Makes an hour drive seem like nothing.
I will say the I95 corridor between VA and DC is the worst section of interstate in the country, without a doubt.
