BTW, my little town just opened a southbound commercial truck lane to Tamaulipas, Mexico.
It's for empties at this time, but they're having a bond election this month to fund the construction of an inspection and processing facility for loaded commercial trucks.

Update: (Jump to 6:00 minute of video) After "true stay order" hearing, in 2-1 decision, 5th Circuit denied the stay so SB4 continues to be "on hold" until preliminary injunction hearing

Update: Preliminary injunction hearing was heard on Wednesday and Anthony Miranda discuss the hearing:

• Texas argued SB4 essentially "helps" the federal government fulfill existing immigration laws by providing funding and resources
• Since Customs and Border Protection (CBP) lacks funding and resources to patrol the border sufficiently, SB4 "helps" CBP by utilizing Texas state funding and resources to capture illegal immigrants and bring them to CBP
• It was clarified that SB4 focuses on illegal immigrants entering US at the border and would not target illegal immigrants already processed by CBP and released into the state of Texas
• It was also clarified that SB4 will not target illegal immigrants who entered US through other states' border, only those that entered US through Texas border
• SB4 would not remove anyone from state of Texas rather state representatives would only hand off arrested illegal immigrants to CBP
• SB4 is still on hold until the 5th Circuit rules on the preliminary injunction request

First off, were the Homeland Security investigators that were filling in for Secret Service members that were supposedly protecting former president Trump pulled from investigating the illegal border-crossers and their enablers?
And-
Second, will this finally settle whether or not Donald Trump will be able to settle policy on the border if he gets re-elected?
