what's the story/rumors on loretta lynch

Thanks for the clarification, got this info from an acquaintance in Europe who is normally right on the money and gives me info from Germany which hardly ever makes it across the Atlantic.

If the story is fake the novelist has enough general knowledge to know the Marine Corps is not held to Posse Comitatus. It would be a rather frightening event if true. That said, I find it a bit questionable an arrest squad would not have included leg irons in the equipment list and have to resort to duct tape to bind her legs.

While that's technically true it's a legal technicality simply because they aren't mentioned by name in the act, but the Navy has other regulations limiting the use of military justice to enforce civilian law that have the same effect on the Marines as does the Posse Comitatus on the Army and the Air Force.

... one can always hope, but when it comes to justice, usually the big fish don't get hooked, much less pan-fried ...
