Trump Can't Lose!

Really?

So, there are no protests going on? Those protests and riots aren't just about the BLM movement any more. They're also about frustration with the government and the current administration.

Whether or not you agree with those people, surely you can see that they exist and that they hate President Trump. Can't you? Can you not see the rising tide here?

Seems about the same. They rioted and burned when o-bummer was in too, nothing new. Half the country likes trump and the other half doesn't . what we see is a group of the cry babies that scream the loudest and throw the most things. Like bad product reviews, maybe there are 10,000 bad reviews for something so when you look the first thought is "wow, must be bad!" , what you don't realize is that 10 million were sold and the people who are satisfied often remain silent. I'm a huge supporter of our president but you'll never see me with a trump sign out yelling in the streets. The crazed mob is not the majority, the get attention by screaming the loudest and breaking stuff.
Perhaps a different perspective would help, do you think the mob would be doing all this crazy BS if they thought they were going to win in November ? I don't think so, their frustration must at least partially stem from the fact that they know they've got trump for 4 more years. Look at their joke of a candidate , exactly what they HATE - rich old white guy , isn't that who they think is responsible for their current problems? How is it that a party that is so vocal and dissatisfied doesn't even have a candidate that represents them? The left has nothing and they know it, that's why they're the loudest and most violent mob of skum out there right now.

ROTFLOL! Anyone who believes the children who were never told no, who are now having a full on temper tantrum and looting and burning represent anything more than maybe 1% of the population is suffering from TDS/ wishful thinking, or both.
The people looting and burning are screaming for some flavor of Socialism ONLY do because they have zero education and have no idea what they are asking for. If they ever get the Government they are screaming for they will quickly find out why it is always enforced at gun point.
I can certainly see why they were "frustrated". Before the virus hoax we had an economy most of them had never in their lifetimes seen. Everyone who wanted to work had jobs begging for them. Most had never seen things this good. So of course I can see why that would "frustrate them". Everyone wants to go back to Depression era economy because that was of course utopia. Every big city that is turning into a giant sewer is run by liberals and have been run by liberals for decades. So of course it's Trumps fault? Liberalism really is a mental disorder.

You can both speak poorly of these people all you like. You can try and marginalize them, and pretend they're upset because the "know they're gonna lose". You can say the numbers are insignificant. That they're uneducated and can't take care of themselves.

They still have a vote, same as you and I. African Americans make up 13.4% of the population. They're energized and getting organized and registered to vote. How many do you really think will vote for Trump? All the Bernie supporters who were too apathetic to vote in the primary, are now energized too. Particularly as the economy (not the stock market) is currently doing fairly poorly, and they know the Republicans don't want to help them.

You can boil it down to them wanting to vote themselves other people's money, if you want to. They still have one vote each.

And what I'm saying here guys, is that reality is reality, whether you want it to be that way or not. People who didn't bother voting for Hillary last time, are much more likely to go out and vote against Trump this time.

That's the main misunderstanding of the population that votes democrat . give a man a fish... And all that . Republicans want to give people the means to provide a good life for themselves, democrats want to rob the working people to hand it out for free. That's fine until you run out of other people's money.
I think a decent number of black folks will vote trump, I don't know how anyone could vote democrat that knows the real history of the party. An ugly past of racism and bigotry , Jim crow, filibuster for the civil rights act and official party of the klan. These aren't opinions , they're hard facts that many minorities are aware of. Also a good number of black folks are religious and the left seeks to destroy religion , remove God from all aspects of our lives and reinstate their own alternative god- Obama , Mao , Fidel - you know, prolific bad guys .
I hope everyone votes, no one should take their voice for granted but to assume no minorities will vote for trump is short sighted and media driven . trump was beloved by disadvantaged people until the media turned on him.

The line about Democrats being a racist party is pretty tired. Neither they nor the Republicans are the parties they once were.
The Democrat party of today simply isn't racist. If you think it is, go ahead and provide some evidence from the past couple decades. African Americans certainly didn't think so when they voted the first black president into office.

Now it would be foolish of my to every assume no minorities will vote for Trump. Of course some of them will. Just not a large minority. I would go so far as to say a very small minority. But we shall see.

To me it's very obvious, look at what they support-

reparations- someone should receive preferred treatment (money ) based solely on the color of their skin. Doesn't matter if their ancestors were slaves or not.

Abortion- Margaret sanger (who was previously their biggest hero) was an extreme racist and pushed for abortions for minorities - the left still embraces her disgusting ideals probably more than any other topic.

Isreal - if you see the antisemitism of their favorite leaders there is no doubt talib, Omar and others are very antisemitic but their party defends them without question.

BLM- a leftist and self described organization with Marxist beliefs does not think that white, brown, yellow or red lives matter, only their own. When asked if they could be "all lives matter" it was a swift "no". That's pretty racist and the left supports these goons fully.

Al Sharpton - outspoken antisemite and a hero of the left. He admits proudly he used to spit in white people's food when he worked in the restaurant industry- the embrace him as the all knowing racial hero when he should be shunned as the skum he is, profiting from tragedy and mocking what Dr. King accomplished , he does more damage to race relations than anyone else.

I can keep going, if you'd like I can but the point is it's the same party. Nothing's changed they just word it differently. They want the minorities dependant on welfare to keep them voting democrat forever, just like LBJ wanted. The left is bad.

Reparations - I would be very surprised if all elected Democrats favored something so short-sighted.

Abortions - Some people believe women have a right to choose what goes on with their own bodies. As far as racism goes, I'm not seeing how that applies any more than I'm seeing how VWs are anti-Semitic.

Israel - There's a big difference between anti-Semitism and wanting Israel to get back inside their borders and stop occupying and taking over Palestine. I think the Palestinians might like to not have their land stolen, and might also like to be recognised as a sovereign nation. But maybe I'm wrong and they actually love being oppressed.

BLM - The Bureau of Land Management isn't racists! But seriously, they could have chosen a more inclusive slogan, such as 'Black Lives Matter Too'. Oh well. They want some recognition, they want their voices to be heard. Nothing wrong with that. Some of them may be racists, but that doesn't mean all of them are.

Al Sharpton - As far as I can tell, he's not someone I care about. He may be a Democrat, but he's not really representative of the party as a whole from what I'm aware.

Sure, you keep going. I'm not reading any damning evidence so far. Maybe you've got something better, like how all the KKK members and white supremacists, and all the "South Shall Rise Again" types actually vote Democrat.

....Oh, wait. They all vote Republican.

When Jackson Lee introduced her bill proposing a commission to study the feasibility of reparations, she was supported by House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler and Speaker Nancy Pelosi. More important, Democratic candidates for president are getting on board. Senators Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (a co-sponsor of the bill) also back the legislation.
That's the highest elected officials in the dem party, yes- they support reparations and don't hide it

Israel is our friend, the leftys in Congress openly talk about Jews being greedy and corrupt.
Talib supports Maher Abdel-qader, who is openly antisemitic and her party doesn't shun her. That's undeniable . otherwise she wouldn't be the freshman sweetheart of the party

Pelosi - the highest elected lefty of them all strongly supports Sharpton who is a blatant antisemite and anti-white instigator for profit. Doesn't get any clearer to me

Well, I can safely say you've convinced me that your beliefs are strongly held. But none of that convinces me the Democrat party is racist.

@Magnum

Okay, so we've got a bill that proposes a commission to study the feasbility of reparations. And Democrats are supporting the idea of getting some data on if/how feasible that would be? Collecting information is blatantly racist. [Sarcasm]

So Margaret Sanger was a proponent of abortions and also liked racism? Therefore anyone who believes in a woman's right to choose must be a racist? Not very logical.

You're right, Israel is our friend.....in the Middle East, whilst we're fighting their enemies. Beyond that, it's hard to say. You claim Dems in Congress are openly anti-Semitic. Show me proof. And I don't mean anti-Israel rhetoric, because disagreeing with the actions of a country's government does not amount to racism.

Pelosi supports a highly praised black religious leader? Shocking stuff. And he apparently hates white people and also hates Jews? Wow.

Betty likes marbles and hates straws.
Joan saw Betty playing marbles.
Betty let Joan play with her.
Now Joan likes Betty, and marbles too.
Therefore Joan must also hate straws.

It's possible to agree with someone on one political topic, and yet disagree on another.

You "like" some of my posts about firearms on THR. Does that also mean you like my stance on abortion rights? Of course you don't. But does that mean you will no longer associate with me on THR when we agree on gun-related topics? Would you refuse to associate with me on a pro 2A campaign because we disagree about abortion? If every politician had to agree on every political ideal before they could work together, nothing would get done.

I think you're really reaching on this concept that the Democrats are a party of racism. It's very easy to demonize a group of people based on a little circumstantial "evidence", then marginalize them and their opinions. I prefer to judge each position on its own merit, and decide for myself.

You're my buddy! No joke. The reason I came to this forum is to learn and see perspectives I don't relate to. I get grouchy but never take it as a personal attack, please. I pride myself in being polite and always on time. You certainly are an asset on THR and I do not want to alienate you by spilling my beliefs but I've got to type from my heart and I feel strongly. Also realize I was raised by draft dodging vegetarian hippies , by the time I knew better I swung hard the other way so I can come on a little strong , please don't take me wrong, I care about our fellow man as much as anybody and all I want politically is the best possible life for my young family.

Hey, I really appreciate that. Actually that was a rhetorical question, just to illustrate my point that we can agree on some things and disagree on others. But still work together on what benefits us both.

I can absolutely understand your political views, even when I disagree with them. I like to put myself in the other person's shoes. I actually used to be a member of the Libertarian party, but my views have changes somewhat as I've broadened my horizons. The country could move strongly in a number of different directions and we'd still find a way to make it work. People are resourceful that way. These days, when I look at politics, I try to figure out what is most pragmatic. For me that doesn't always follow party lines.

I grew up with parents who were almost as far left as you could be then. As soon as I got old enough to see what was happening I was confused often. I would hear both parents get VERY angry as what law makers were doing to them. Every time it happened the people they voted for were doing it. When I would ask why, they would both get over the top angry. They both stayed that way till the end. The people they voted for screwed them, they would blame those who had no power and vote the same people shafting them back in. Amazing to watch. It got to where when I was older they would carefully just not mention it to me any more. I would give them some facts and it would just make them mad <shrug> Sound familiar?

This election is bigger than Trump vs Biden. It's about capitalism and traditional values versus communism, as that's who's taken over the Democratic Party. My parents came here from Poland immediatley after WW2, and I have a lot of family that stayed there. They let us know what life was like under the thumb of the Soviet Union and it wasn't pretty. People who I've spoken to who truely understand what communism is are horrified that we have a percentage of the country that is either rooting for it or are uneducated as to what it'll mean and will actually vote for it. While I have concerns about the Republican Party, voting for communists is a non-starter.

Gotta say, I haven't heard a whole lot about as desire for communism. Socialism on the other hand, I've heard a lot about. Or rather "democratic socialism". Seems like a lot of people want a system more like Sweden. I don't hear the Swedes complaining too much about their society. Or the Finn's, or Norwegians for that matter. But perhaps they all hate it.

Of course, a homogenized society certainly helps. Hard to argue with people when everyone pretty much agrees with each other.

Agreed. They don't call it communism and uneducated people may not realize that's their end game, but if you look at their stated objectives that's their goal. "Democratic Socialism" is a much easier sell.
