Between the drought-caused Panama Canal restrictions and the reduced Suez Canal accessibility caused by the Houthi missile and drone attacks on ships on the Red Sea {not to mention the pirates), trade on the high seas is even more constricted.
Passage through the Panama Canal isn't expected to increase until January and who knows when the Houthis are going to run out of Iranian missiles and drones.
I guess that ships are going back to sailing around Cape Horn and the Cape of Good Hope... .
