Should someone start a thread for NTT on THR?

Hey all.
Hadn't seen if anyone had started a thread to get some more high road folks over here. Not really my place to start such a thread over there, just wondering if someone will.
I like this forum, I don't have to worry about rambling off gun topics as much. I generally mind my Ps & Qs over there.

Why limit it only to THR? Why not TFL, the blue S&W forum and similar places where politics are not allowed?
THR is the first forum I've used, the only one besides this one I'm on. So I don't know how it goes anywhere else. I just know that generally THR folks are polite and knowledgeable. I've seen some pretty gruesome and insaine posts on other forums from folks that are only interested in trolling. If the other forums are good, get those folks over here!

I agree with you, @Magnum. It would be cool to see more people over here. Make things a little more exciting. I understand if @thegunguy wants to keep it small for a little while longer to work out any bugs though so I haven't said anything in THR myself.

I seriously doubt they would let a thread would last more than a minute....MAYBE, to those of you who have been there a long time, a PM approach at first to other members might be a good start. I know most forums do not like their competitor to be mentioned or championed on another site, and while this isn't really a competitor, the fact that it is for discussing verboten topics on THR, they might not approve. Just a thought

you guys realize that the same person owns this forum and THR? there's no competition. everyone there wants this place to succeed.
HOWEVER, the purpose is to promote our rights, such as privacy, etc. just like THR is for RKBA. this is not just a place to bellyache about things that are not gun related

I don't post on TFL, but I'll see if I can arrange a thread on THR to link to here. but you guys might consider putting a link in your sig lines

not familiar with vertical scope. i know who owns most of the forums i hang out on, like arfcom (brownells), snipershide (Frank), etc. dunno what vertical owns.

They are a Canadian company that owns the S&W forums, Ruger forum, National Gun Forum and a TON of others. Right now, they are converting all of them to the latest Xenforo upgrade (which I really like)

I think it was more a case of us wanting people from THR to come over and have other discussions, but feeling it might not be our place to actually invite them via a forum thread there.

I was unaware of this forum. I like THR a great deal and sometimes wish that they allowed politics. I also fully understand why they don't. Regardless, I am glad that this site was mentioned on THR.
