Proposed Solution to Border Crisis

So long as the Biden Administration's southern border policy is "let 'em come, catch 'em, release 'em" I think a solution should be to bus them to Washington, DC and release them as close as possible to the White House. I'll bet the problem would resolve in fairly short order.

-Especially those that have covid or other communicable diseases.
After all, you can be certain that they will get the very best health care there, just like Congress does... .

Well if we're throwing out random ideas that will never actually happen, I have one too.

Why don't we invade all these Central and South American countries from which these refugees are fleeing, and install democratic republics? We seem to like to do that anyway, and they're so close that the logistics should be fairly easy. Kill all the criminal enterprises, dirty politicians military members and leos, and help create societies those people want to STAY in?

What most of these folks are fleeing is the fact that those that have a job are earning two to four dollars a day and are not getting to keep all of that... .

I thought we already did that, but it didn't work.

(or maybe it was the people we "hired" to try...)

They already have democratic republics ... at least they call them that ... maybe the people fleeing those "republics" got fed up with their votes getting stolen. Boy, are they in for a rude awakening.

Well, they're starting to finally admit that there's a little bit of a crisis here at the border.
ICE just put down $500,000.00 to lease another piece of land from my city, Donna, Texas, to put up another set of holding tents for unaccompanied children... .

Hate to break up the echo chamber, but it turns out the recent 'border crisis' is just hype. The numbers are part of the regular seasonal pattern:

It was just BS drummed up by 'Lyin Ted Cruz'.

Yeah, normal for when Trump isn't president - or when the caravans aren't carefully organized by anti-Trumpers.
You notice the sudden cutoff before 2016 and the spike when they made the massive caravan in late 2019 to try to show how ineffectual Trump's new border regs were... .

Actually, the real drop happened when Obama was president. Look at the graph!

Well, the press is finally being allowed into the "unaccompanied children" tents down on Salinas Avenue here in Donna, Texas .
They were built to hold up to 1000 kids, reduced to 250 by COVID regulations, but there are over 4,000 "children" (some look to be almost 30 years old and have gang tattoos).
It'll be interesting if some of these "children" get interviewed... .

By the way, the Biden administration has finally admitted that some, limited border wall construction will be "allowed" = at least, the sections that have already been paid for... .

The DHS has been reported to be considering continuing wall construction. I don't know the details. Is that what they're referring to? The part already paid for? Or are they considering additional construction out of their own funds? Do they actually need Presidential authority to do either if it's already funded? I suppose it depends on the exact language of the EO he issued wrt the wall.
