Now They Can’t Give It Away

Again I say my, how things change.

A year ago I was predicting that gas might go up to three dollars per gallon.
Now it's looking to go to $5.00... .

To tell you the truth I'm getting a little tired of gas prices being waived as an inflation red flag. Gas price increases are modest compared with some of the other price increases that are going on. Food, as an example. Everybody needs to eat. Maybe they can cut back on the miles, but they can't cut back much on the calories. For example, a certain store bakery bread that's my favorite bread was $1.69 a loaf two years ago and now it's $3.49 a loaf. That's a double. And meat? I haven't bought even the cheapest grade of steak in over a year.

I want $10/gal gas, just so used car prices can crash again and I can buy up a bunch of cars for cheap. :D

-Brandon's working on it.
Sadly, it's likely that Brandon may start working on a Junker Law like some European countries have had, where most vehicles that are over five years old are uninsureable unless they are historical - or you can pay a big enough bribe... .
