Looking to hire an attorney.

I am contemplating a class action suit on behalf of anyone who was considered an "essential worker" for the last 16 months, and was required to report to work every day as normal. The emotional duress caused by having to actually be responsible for my own life has caused irreparable harm. I intend to seek unspecified damages from the following co-defendents.
1-Government of the U.S.
2-Government of China
3-KFC (for closing early due to staff shortage)
4-Popeye's (same reason as KFC)
5-Ownership group of local McDonald's (for dropping breakfast bagels from their menu, even though the ones up north still have them)
6-The Taliban(just because)
7- My parents (for instilling work ethic during my upbringing.)
8- The attorneys in Cleveland who are suing the state of Ohio to reinstate the extra $300 unemployment benefits.

Anyone have recommendations?

Never knew that was under fire. I saw it as one of the smarter things Ohio has done. Then too no surprise it started in Cleveland. :)

I would suggest my attorney but I doubt he would take the case. Best of luck though.

Yeah, came out yesterday. "Workers" and their attorneys are filing suit in every state that has eliminated the additional $300. Indiana has already been reversed or stayed. Not sure why they're still calling them workers now after a year and a half of not working.

I probably need one of the "I don't get paid unless you get paid" type. Depending on how many people I can get on board, I'm thinking a full refund for all plaintiffs of all taxes paid in while other folks got extra benefits...a month-long paid vacation, couple million for the attorney and a Chick-fil-A gift card since they're the only chicken place that seems to be open past 7pm.

I was thinking Bill or Hillary Clinton might meet most of your requirements. As far as affordable, you might have to go for pro-bono. And Bill would certainly be averse to suing your fast-food joints.

#8 is a losing proposition as lawyers have a unique morality to defend a client even if they do not agree with the premise. Suing the businesses... They are already having to pay the sluggards the 300 and including them would simply be cashing in on the ghetto lottery. Suing China would be equivalent to suing Henry Ford for Bonnie and Clyde using a car to escape after a bank robbery.

If you are going to spend that kind of money jousting windmills make the suit questioning if the state actually has been granted the authority to hand out cash.
