She was mad, then thought about it; that's going to be the kid's car in a couple years, so he's going to be putting sweat equity into fixing it up (most notably, the clutch is dead. Yes Virginia, it's a manual transmission convertible.) So father/son bonding time. Plus it was $900. Did need to drive 530 miles round trip to get it though.
But now, I got a broker to put in a bid on another stick shift convertible Sebring I found. Because why not? And, Save All The Manuals! probably will use it for parts, as it got smacked pretty hard in the ass.
