Actually, I've had some second thoughts about my comment here. Psaki lies because she's paid to lie. Biden lies because he's been doing it his whole life. He's a pathological lier and probably doesn't even realize the difference between the truth and a lie anymore. From another viewpoint, he no longer has a conscience that he's violating. In my mind, this makes Psaki by far the more evil character, because she's deliberately and for her own selfish interests violating her conscience and being responsible for harm to others.

Yes, it's pretty apparent we have a man who's just following a script - which he sometimes gets wrong or goes off-script, and somebody gets pissed - so who's writing his scripts? I don't know, but I'd guess that Jill Biden is in on it.
