Canadian Truckers Rule!!

I've been watching a live stream of the Canadian truckers' blockade of Ottawa and the Canadian Parliament, and it's absolutely awesome. This is how freedom works. People freely expressing how they're fed up with their government's authoritarian mandates in a peaceful and non-violent way. Power to the people!! As we used to say back in my generation's time. I wish them all the success. I hope that jackass Trudeau resigns.

unfortunately there is some illegitimate resistance by certain groups;

and right now there are the anti-trucker protesters, copied from the liberal shithole reddit:

And the jackass will not resign, they will have to drag him out. Little cowardly shitheads are barricading themselves in and hope their puppets are going to protect them.

I think our Candadian neighbors are showing US how to do it, this time around. Valuing freedom, liberty and individual choice and responsibility is not a uniquely American value.

A sad day today for Canada and Canadians. This is how dictatorships begin. As I understand, the Emergencies Act needs to be rubber-stamped by Parliament within seven days or it expires. And as of today, they're suspended. So.... I don't know what happens next. But I applaud and thank the protestors for not taking what was expected to be their part in this whole political power show. Riot? Burn down Parliament? That's what they would have done in most other countries by now.

Others have said it multiple times, in multiple places.
Canada, so far, has been a demonstration of that.
21 months ago they took nearly all the guns.
Now they have the ability and excuse to crush the People with impunity.
There was no threat of a couple hundred grains of metal moving at a couple thousand feet per second, coming the way of the "police" that ended the protest. The powers know that, and have and will act with impunity. The same can't be said here, yet. And I suspect there's way more itchy trigger fingers in this country. I have no doubts in my mind, that a shooting "war" is coming. It's just a matter of what the date will be.

Got a link for that? I heard a few types of assault rifles were grandfathered in, not taken.

Otherwise they still have all their guns from what I heard.

Need a link on your claim.
looking now.
it was referenced from one of the many boards/forums i'm on. I'll keep an eye out for it again and report back.

Yep.
The truckers should go home - and then refuse to ship anything to or from Ontario or any city or province that follows the dictats of Trudeau,,, ,

Yep.
They'd just go home - and go to work somewhere else.
All of the truck lines are hiring and there's a major trucker shortage.
Sounds like YOUR party is over... .
