I refuse to wear a mask

No, I’m just tired of people painting themselves as heroes because they’re afraid of a piece of cloth.
Of course that's it, we're scared to wear masks, maskophobic?

You seem pretty upset about my little jab at once loud and proud mask wearers that have quietly abandoned those scary little pieces of cloth.

The authorities admit that the masks that are in common use are almost worthless.
They primarily serve to show that the masked are submitting to the authorities and the will of the easily panicked.
You might as well accept wearing a burka.
Those that insist that the people that are around them must wear a mask are beginning to be called "maskerbators" because of the pleasure that these individuals seem to derive from belittling the unmasked... .

The ones that have given up on masks get really upset when questioned about their past maskerbation.
I never enjoyed wearing a mask, but as noted in a previous post... I wore and/or wear one when required by the business I had intent to enter. Not because our governor said I had to. I chose to wear one because I fully expect anyone entering my place of employment to adhere to whatever rules the owner puts in place, and feel that it would be hypocritical for me not to abide their rules.
My choice is based entirely on having the option to partake in recreational activities that my family enjoys, and if a mask is required...well, I haven't died from it yet. I chose and choose to wear one as needed because it's a small sacrifice in order for my kid to have some semblance of normalcy in his life.

A cloth mask is not a serious threat to American democracy. That’s ludicrous. You are not saving America, you’re just having a little drama.

the f@cking mask was the prelude to the vaccine and the pass. And if you remember just a little bit about history, you may have heard of the Star of David and the Jews who had to wear it in Nazi Germany. A frightening similarity.

Wehret den Anfaengen (loosely translated as: nip it in the butt in the beginning) should have been the correct response after the initial lies from the regime when we were told it is only for 2 weeks, then being extended to only 100 days and so on.

After 100 days we all should have taken off the masks and shoved them collectively up faucis, bidens and walensky's ass, but we didn’t.

The American people (and pretty much the rest of the world) fell for this shit and here we are, an utterly divided country.

Wiscoasters reaction has nothing to do with a little drama, it is a matter of principals, convictions and our freedom of choice.

Nobody came up with any restrictions when Aids started in the 80’s, nobody excluded gays from going to work or participating in their "normal" life, although we involuntary supported and paid for their promiscuous life style with our increased health insurance payments, and no doctors discriminated against them.

The same doctors are now refusing to treat or prescribe the necessary medication (Ivermectin or Monoclonal antibodies).

This is the real threat against Americans and it started with the damn mask.

Thank you. I know there are still people in this country that remember history, that know the Constitution, and that have their heads screwed on straight. President Reagan, one of our greatest presidents, was elected by the "Silent Majority." Well, it's long past time for the Silent Majority to stop staying silent, even if it means to stop being soft-spoken, courteous, patient and reasonable and start being loud, rude, impatient and obnoxious. In other words, use their own tactics against them. Fight fire with fire. It's not my preferred tactic, but if it works, they've earned (and deserve) a taste of their own medicine.

No one who invokes the Nazis can be taken seriously. Because there is no similarity at all.

Oh, and learn some history, for God's sake. It was NOT imposed in Nazi Germany - it was in Poland first, and other occupied countries later.

Yep.
Many of my family members were Polish and some of them were Jews.
Six million Jews were killed during that war.
Six million Poles were killed during the war.
Most were killed because they bore some dehumanizing label or other.
I take the dehumanizing labeling of current groups pretty seriously.
If it requires invoking the Nationalist Socialists to get others to take this labeling seriously then so be it... .

They could be and should be when their point is valid but as soon as Nazis are brought up, in any context, the discussion is pretty much over.

Folks that just a few months ago were militant about everyone wearing masks and now rarely wear one cannot be taken seriously.

When the unvaccinated get sent to concentration camps, let me know. Until then, it is all rhetorical BS.

Considering some of the unvaccinated are under functional house arrest, concentration camps may not be out of the picture... .
Really? There is a court order or other law instrument instructing the unvaccinated to stay in their houses? Some enforcement agency is making sure the unvaccinated don't leave their houses?

It could be done. CDC claims the authority to do so:

And have they? I mean, we are comparing this to the Nazis. Right? You know, trains packed full of people without food, water, or sanitation. People stripped of their belongings, then shot by the thousands and tossed into unmarked graves. Death camps with extermination protocols. Millions dead, millions more starved and diseased in packed camps. Right?

BTW - you might read that CDC page more carefully. They can quarantine infected people, not people who haven't taken a vaccine. Most countries reserve the right to quarantine people infected with a dangerous pathogen.
