Republican Review of Arizona Vote Fails to Show Stolen Election

So you don't feel that claims the election was stolen in 2016, that Trump was not legitimately elected, were also lies?
The election was supposed to get stolen in 2016, but they didn't cheat hard enough and in enough purple states to offset the Trump Electoral College majority, and that's why Hillary was so pissed and reluctant to concede.

Personally I see the behavior of both sides as pretty reprehensible. One side spends 4 years attacking the concept of the process (among other things) and trying to overturn the election, the other side attacks the integrity of the process with the same overall goal.

The only real difference is the arguments they've used to sell their B.S.
Do you have a link to people saying Trump wasn't legitimately elected? I am not aware that happened. Anger at the Electoral College, yes, and general dislike of him, yes, but no one said he wasn't the actual legitimately elected president.

It is one thing to 'work' the system successfully so that you get the electoral votes without the popular vote, and another to try to overthrow the result with deception.

I am not saying everything everyone one the left did was admirable, don't get me wrong. But public protest and freedom of the press, even if ugly, and sometimes excessive, are part of our system and our tradition.

But the attempt to cast doubt on the election result through deception threatens the Democratic process. It it the kind of thing we see in 3rd World dictators all the time.

I don't really understand this post. Cheat how?

Hilary publicly conceded the next morning. How long did it take Trump in 2020?

Here's one.

Here's another. See, it wasn't just the general populace of Democrats, it was their candidate yelling loudest from the rooftops. And these articles weren't just in the first few months, but nearly 4 years later leading up to the 2020 election.

It cuts both ways, and the premise of a "stolen election" wasn't novel to the most recent one. In fact, it could easily be claimed that the Democrats spent the last 4 years writing the playbook.

The difference is Republicans deviated from that playbook because they don't have the means to conduct multiple impeachments.

Re: Hillary: so very typical of lefties to accuse the other side of what they're actually guilty of. Remember Russian collusion? And who was it that was actually behind that? Trump? Nooooooo....,

Did you read the USA Today article? She didn't say the election wasn't legitimate. She said the Democrats couldn't keep up with Trump's social media. And she certainly never suggested the election should be overturned.

Um. The New York Post? You sure you don't want to quote the Enquirer? How about something a bit more reputable:

you were all happy to quote the Intercept:

I linked the wrong article, but even the warning that the election could be "stolen" shows a lack of confidence in the legitimacy of the process. Here's another from some of those I'd read.

We had 4 years of that sentiment coming from the left. Anyone expecting the right to behave any differently had their head buried in the sand.
